I’m Lauren and I’m a creative writing student with a passionate interest in science—living proof that you don’t need to be a scientist to appreciate the wonder of the universe. My current goal is to become a science writer/communicator, and starting this blog seemed like an excellent place to get some experience.
On ScienceSoup I post daily one-paragraph articles about all kinds of scientific knowledge and news. I write all of the articles, and it’s my aim to make science short, sweet, and accessible. ScienceSoup is generally a mix of topics, but if you want to look at specific fields, you can check out my categories page.
Don’t feel shy to drop me a message or suggest an article topic! I prefer them off anon, because then I’ll nearly always get back to you even if I don’t publish them.
